Daniel French
Daniel
French's teaching and practice draw extensively on the ancient texts of
healing and wellness, as well as the most contemporary information
available today. He obtained a Psychology Degree with a minor in history
and East Asian studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1995. Daniel then followed this by studying bodywork at the prestigious
Chicago School of Massage Therapy, where he received his certification
as a Massage Therapist and a Holistic Health Practitioner. He has
studied the Healing Arts with the top teachers, doctors, and masters.
After becoming a Personal Trainer, and
a Reiki and Zen Shiatsu Teacher, Daniel became Yoga supervisor and
director of many yoga wellness centers. He also initiated yoga and
wellness programs for many of the doctors with whom he has worked as well
as Glen Ivy Day Spa & Xandari Day Spa, Kin Spa & Rock Spa. Daniel serves on
the Board of Advisors of the Sports Massage Therapy Institute and the
American Institute of Massage Therapy and teaching the full curriculum at
Remington College. He has over ten thousand clinical
hours performing massage; and teaches martial and healing arts across US,
Europe and Costa Rica.
Daniel
is also a World Class Martial Artist. His knowledge & training of Martial Arts is
extensive spanning over thirty years. He is
Full Instructor
of Bruce Lee's JKD and Filipino Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Shooto
and holds the black belt rank in several other martial arts. He is former
United States Mid West champion in full contact stick fighting, Vale Tudo
and Texas State Jiu Jiutsu Champion as well as former West coast regional
Director for the world renowned Progressive Fighting Systems. His resume
includes
Training F.B.I., Navy Seals, D.E.A. &
Special Forces, Police Departments.
Currently Daniel trains with the worlds top
NHB, MMA and pro athletes. Training for the
Abu Dhabi, Mundials-World Championships in Brazil and Pan American games.
Fighting and competing under Erik Paulson's Combat Submission Wrestling
team Arch Angels, in addition to the Gracie Barra academy in Orange county under Mauricio "Tinguinha" Mariano.
Believing that the general public can
benefit from the thought-provoking explorations of the holistic health
approach, he has a local cable access show highlighting the martial and
healing arts. With over 100 shows produced guests on the show include
innovative doctors, acupuncturists, martial arts masters, swamis, artists,
and teachers. Daniel has also been featured in the following magazines:
Black Belt, Filipino Martial Arts, Probe, and Self Defense for Women.

foreign language knowledge. (Marisa currently reads, writes & speaks Italian
her mother language - as well as teaching English, French, German,
Portuguese, & Spanish). After years of interpreting and world travels, she
became Certified
Massage Therapist, Herbologist, Nutritionist, Holistic Health
Practitioner & Physical Therapy Assistant. She has years of
medical and therapeutic experience blending pragmatic healthy solutions
for empowering people to live their fullest potential.
Marisa offers high
